Credit Analyst

They are seeking a Credit Analyst to support and develop a best-in-class credit management environment, resolving credit-related issues across B2B Revenue verticals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate revenue growth while maintaining financial rigor.

Responsibilities
Review, recommend, and update credit lines of new and existing customers based on credit reports, payment trends, industry knowledge, and financial statement analysis
Make appropriate credit decisions to mitigate risk and financial exposure; set appropriate payment terms and understand the impact of contract language on collections
Review orders for release or hold based on payment history and creditworthiness
Keep informed of industry and market developments that could affect the credit portfolio
Work closely with the collections team to reduce exposure to potential bad debt
Interpret various financial reporting sources, such as Dun & Bradstreet
Have a working understanding of SOX controls and understand the importance of maintaining accurate data and a robust control environment
Ensure smooth integration of any additional business verticals or acquired companies into the credit process
Assist in defining, refining, and improving credit strategy, policy, and process using knowledge of industry-leading practices
Participate and drive ongoing process improvement, making recommendations and participating and/or leading implementations to improve department efficiency
Provide leadership and ownership across the team’s process improvement initiatives
Actively participate in driving results to meet individual, team, and department objectives
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers and business partners from other functional groups at all levels, including executive decision makers
Assist as needed in guiding and supporting other billing & collections staff
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience - credit management experience
Proven ability to work accurately, at pace, and hit deadlines
Excel experience with the ability to navigate data sets
Deep knowledge and expertise in Credit Review and Credit Management
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
A great communicator who can cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

A bachelor's Degree in a finance-related field is a plus
Experience with other Credit-related 3rd party systems and ticketing tools is a plus
Knowledge of the Ads business is a plus
Spanish language proficiency a plus since this role will cover LATAM as well
