The Air Logistics Gateway Operations Specialist is responsible for the timely movement of air export freight, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity
Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations
Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region
Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations
Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process
Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities
Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers
Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product and company goals
Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting tools
Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
Support pricing team on rate quotes
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); communicates clearly and concisely
Operational experience in the airfreight industry including but not limited to prior experience with warehousing/ airline/ GHA/ freight forwarder Air Export Gateway operations

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
Gute MS-Office Kenntnisse
Ausgeprägte Organisationsfähigkeiten
