Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function to ensure smooth and timely processing of invoices and payments
Leading a team of eight AP professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to maintain high performance and accuracy
Developing and implementing automation strategies to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency in accounts payable operations
Handling vendor tax compliance, including sales and use tax reporting across 50+ jurisdictions and ensuring 1099/1042 compliance
Driving the modernization of the Source-to-Pay process, optimizing systems and workflows to align with the company's long-term strategic goals
Leveraging financial data and analytics, creating reports and KPIs to monitor vendor agreements and the operational performance of the accounts payable team
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience in accounts payable leadership)
7+ years of progressive experience within accounts payable, shared services, or financial operations
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, financial applications, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Excel
