Responsibilities
Provide dressing change services for patients with vascular access devices such as PICCs and midlines
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as needed
Monitor for complications and escalate concerns when necessary
Educate patients, families, and facility staff on PICC and midline care, infection prevention, and proper maintenance
Accurately and promptly document all care using electronic systems
Collaborate with Vascular Access Nurse Consultants and facility care teams to support patient care plans
Qualification
Required
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted license in the state of practice
Preferred
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with recent bedside, home health, or SNF experience preferred
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Comfortable working independently in the field
Experience with vascular access device care (dressing changes and PICC/midline maintenance)
Possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and a smartphone for documentation and communication
