Rise Brands is a hospitality-driven organization seeking an Accounting Intern to support the Accounting Manager and Procurement Director. This role offers hands-on exposure to transactional accounting, month-end processes, and financial analysis while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing daily accounting transactions, including sales, refunds, and basic journal entries

Support daily cash reconciliations for all locations, including cash transfers, checks, ACH, and debit transactions

Help prepare and enter invoices, expense reports, and month-end accruals under supervision

Monitor and assist in managing the Accounts Payable email inbox

Support month-end close activities, including documentation and reconciliation support

Assist with data gathering and ad hoc financial analyses to support finance, marketing, operations, and strategy teams

Participate in identifying opportunities for process improvements within accounting and finance workflows

Provide administrative and analytical support for procurement activities, including new store openings and ongoing operations

Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information

Complete other accounting-related projects and duties as assigned
