Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate final quality checks of products
Operate and maintain terminal equipment safely, including unloading barges, railcars, and trucks, and transferring products into proper silos
Load bulk unit trucks with correct weights and products for delivery or pickup
Use terminal equipment safely and efficiently (vibrators, compressors, loaders, blowers, pumps, vacuum systems, pneumatic doors, boot lifts, hoisting equipment, etc.)
Perform product sampling and testing during receipt and shipment
Process Bill of Ladings accurately
Troubleshoot and address terminal equipment issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational standards, and safety policies
Maintain terminal buildings, grounds, and equipment in good condition
Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies; promote a culture of safety
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of relevant experience in terminal operations or similar environment
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft programs and SAP
High mechanical aptitude and ability
Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and perform unloading functions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved PPE, including respirators where required (clean-shaven for seal fit)
Preferred
Knowledge of cement, construction industry, and integrated computer systems is an asset
