New Business Development Executive
Thomson Reuters is a leading provider of trusted content and technology solutions. The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and securing sales, while also managing existing accounts and collaborating with various teams to enhance product offerings.
Responsibilities
Implement sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and create go-to-market initiatives
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers, leveraging your network and expertise to generate new business and grow existing accounts
Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to ensure our solutions remain competitive and relevant in an ever-changing market
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to your manager and other key stakeholders
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, sharing insights and knowledge with the wider organization to drive continuous improvement
Act as the point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and manage the sales process from start to finish
Meet agreed-upon targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
Strong knowledge of the book publishing market and an understanding of the challenges faced by organizations in this space
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels
Driven and results-oriented approach, with a passion for developing and delivering innovative solutions
Ability to think strategically and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Comprehensive knowledge of the product development life cycle
Ability to manage time well and work independently
