Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church is seeking a Video Engineer & Editor to provide critical support in video production. This role involves operating video equipment during live productions, training volunteers, and maintaining video-related technology to ensure high-quality visual content during services and events.

Responsibilities

Operate video switchers, cameras, playback systems, and projection during live worship services and events

Assist in the setup and breakdown of video production equipment as needed

Support the capture, routing, and delivery of video feeds for livestream and in-house viewing

Train and mentor volunteer camera operators and other video team members

Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure proper operation and production standards

Assist with creating reference materials and instructional guides for video volunteers

Maintain and perform basic repairs on video production equipment

Support inventory tracking and upkeep of cameras, switchers, monitors, and cables

Troubleshoot technical issues and support equipment upgrades in collaboration with the Video Director

Edit video projects using industry-standard software such as the Adobe Creative Suite

Support video projects by assisting with filming, lighting, and recording

Produce visual graphics for video projects, live productions, and worship services
