Sobering Center Program Manager
Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people in rural, southwest Alaska. The Sobering Center Program Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating Sobering Center activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and managing program design, development, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating YKHC Sobering Center activities with all YKHC patient care areas in accordance to YKHC’s mission, vision, values and five Napartet pillars: Patient Centered Services, Community and Partner Satisfaction, Financial Viability, Alaska Native Staff Development and Employee Focus
Responsible for Sobering Center program design, development, management, quality assurance, evaluation and reporting
Track progress of Sobering Center program SBIRT screenings, referrals made, and referrals completed
Collect, interpret, analyze and present data in various healthcare areas including performance measurements, clinical outcomes and costs and have knowledge in preparing datasets to be used for reporting and analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in a health related field
Two years experience in facility/program management preferably in healthcare setting
One year of experience in supervisory and staff management
Required to pass BLS course within 30 days of hire
Acquire EMT I Certification in the State of Alaska within 12 months of hire
Crisis Prevention Intervention training completion within one year of hire
Satisfactory reference and criminal checks
Must have computer experience and intermediate or above skills using Microsoft Office programs
Must be proficient with equipment and tools used in a SBIRT screening and brief intervention within 3 months of hire
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Preferred
Yup'ik speaking
Experience in database management
Experience in grant and budget management
Experience working in a cross-cultural setting
Experience working in a rural Alaska setting
Experience as a trainer or educator
Substance abuse background
Knowledge and experience in substance abuse
Experience in teaching
Working in cross-cultural setting
