Responsibilities

Conduct research at the intersection of data science and cybersecurity

Teach various courses in the department, including, but not limited to, data science, cybersecurity, information assurance, ethical hacking, systems analysis and design, and programming

Required

Applicants must either have or expect completion of Ph.D. in Information Systems or related fields

They should have a proven record or the potential for high-quality scholarly research leading to publications in premier peer-reviewed journals in Information Systems

They must also be able to teach various courses in the department, including, but not limited to, data science, cybersecurity, information assurance, ethical hacking, systems analysis and design, and programming, among others

Applicants are required to submit a narrative statement describing their commitment to and experience with working effectively with faculty and staff, and teaching students in a pluralistic urban campus environment with a substantial population of students who are among the first generation of their family to attend a college or university

Preferred

Preference will be given to applicants who conduct research at the intersection of data science and cybersecurity
