Electrical Engineer

Talent Bridge is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical maintenance and control systems operations at a cement manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical projects and maintenance activities are executed safely and efficiently, and it includes participation in a structured early-career engineering development program.

Responsibilities

Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians in the execution of daily work orders and assigned projects
Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities in CMMS systems (e.g., SAP)
Develop and execute electrical preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Conduct systematic inspections of plant electrical equipment and analyze performance data to assess risk and define corrective actions
Maintain accurate electrical schematics and spare-parts inventory records
Ensure system programming and modifications comply with applicable environmental and safety standards
Maintain equipment documentation, including specifications, repair history, and compliance records
Evaluate control systems and related hardware to ensure alignment with plant requirements
Define, write, and implement updates to process control programs and PLC systems
Provide control-system training and technical guidance to plant personnel
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control-system hardware and software issues
Support reliability, safety, and cost-reduction initiatives through equipment and process improvements
Promote and model strong health, safety, and environmental practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
0–3 years of relevant electrical, industrial, or controls engineering experience (internship or co-op experience acceptable)
Working knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial control systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in an industrial environment and meet job-related safety requirements
Ability to use required personal protective equipment, with reasonable accommodations provided in accordance with applicable laws
