Client Services Coordinator

Community Healthcore is focused on providing affordable housing and supportive services. They are seeking a Client Services Coordinator to implement the HOME Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program and ensure compliance with HUD regulations for their properties.

Responsibilities

Implement the HOME Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA program) utilizing the HUD Housing Choice Voucher Method
Be the liaison with Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) HOME TBRA Program
Develop content expertize in effective utilization of the TBRA Reservation System
Determine rental unit eligibility and completing annual Housing Quality Standards inspections
Develop client eligibility guidelines
Assist in writing the program operational procedures
Assist the Business Office in submitting required reports and financial information to TDHCA
Outreach and engage landlords to support their continued participation in the HOME program
Ensure Community Healthcore's two affordable housing properties meet the rules and regulations for the HUD Multi-family Housing program
Ensure the tenants of each property have access to supportive services
Address and resolve tenant concerns
Collect rent in a timely manner
Conduct initial/move-in/interim certifications, as applicable
Ensure properties operate according to HUD and Community Healthcare guidelines
Serve as the Site Safety Officer for both Cypress Manor & Pegues Place

Required

Current valid driver's license in state of residence with acceptable driving record
Moderate lifting and carrying up to a maximum of 20 pounds
Sitting for prolonged periods, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching above shoulder height
Motor skills necessary to operate essential office equipment
Physical ability to perform SAMA and CPR
Ability to read and visual acuity to decipher printed information at 8 lines per inch

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in social sciences field strongly preferred
Prior experience with housing/rental programs preferred
Experience working with individuals with behavioral health, substance use, and/or other disabilities preferred
