Talent Bridge is hiring for one of their clients seeking an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic to support operations at a ready-mix facility. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components

Perform repairs and rebuilds of engines, transmissions, and related equipment

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and safety compliance

Calibrate and adjust engine controls and emission systems according to manufacturer standards

Collaborate with maintenance leadership to plan repairs and order required parts

Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety policies

Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards

Qualification

Diesel enginesHydraulic systemsElectrical componentsDiagnostic toolsASE Diesel certification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment

Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems

Experience using diagnostic tools and repair software

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Ability to perform job duties safely in an industrial environment

Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE) with reasonable accommodation provided where required by law

Preferred

Relevant certifications (ASE Diesel or OEM training)
