This role is responsible for leading maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and effective team performance.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise maintenance mechanics during assigned shifts
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair quarry equipment including crushers, conveyors, and mobile machinery
Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards
Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns and coordinate emergency repairs
Train, mentor, and support maintenance team members
Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and inventory levels
Coordinate maintenance priorities with site leadership to support production goals
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment issues
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of industrial or heavy equipment maintenance experience
Proven experience maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and related systems
Demonstrated leadership or shift-lead experience in a maintenance environment
Ability to work safely in an industrial quarry environment
Ability to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators where job-related and safety-required
Preferred
Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field
Quarry, mining, or aggregate industry experience
