Conduct market research
Evaluate total addressable market in target niche areas
Run market tests to validate ideas on market potential
Build customer profiles and personas
Formulate plan for next steps to grow market impact and increase market share
Grow existing large customer product usage
Add more high-value customers
Propose possible complementary technology (both hardware and software) to grow market share
Support Marketing and Sales
Go-to-market strategic plans and playbooks
Product and market opportunity training
Virtual seminars

Customer visit support
Technical conversations with clients during the consultative sales process
Support of new client acquisition
Organize and lead efforts to assess the need for, produce and get approval for technical documentation such as ASTM standards, technical white papers, or calibration method documentation
Organize efforts toward production of peer-reviewed or company-produced data comparison papers as sources of proof for our customers
Application support in engineering-related applications
Partner with customer support team to provide high-level expertise to clients
Run point on ASTM Standards related to METER products
Act as internal Subject Matter Expert for engineering-related projects and applications

Required

Master's degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or Bachelor's degree + equivalent experience
Unsaturated soil mechanics coursework or experience
Familiarity with ASTM standards related to geotechnical/civil/environmental engineering instrumentation and testing

Preferred

5 years of experience post-graduation in a related field
Experience in sales and marketing
Experience with ASTM standards development/committee service

Benefits

Two medical plan options are available for full-time employees: a traditional low-premium plan; or a no-premium high-deductible plan. These plans both include dental and vision coverage. For their first year, full-time employees receive 80 hours of Paid Leave (vacation time) in a lump amount prorated to their start date. Paid Leave increases increase to 108 hours per year after one year and 140 hours per year after four years of service (prorated during the transition year). All Employees receive Sick Leave that accumulates one hour for every 40 hours worked.
11 Paid Holidays, including: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Day after Christmas.
20 hours of paid Charitable Leave (to help with charitable organizations/causes) annually.
METER Group pays for one year’s salary in life insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance for full-time employees.
