Responsibilities

Gain knowledge of interdepartmental dependencies and hands-on experience with day-to-day operations activities and processes from functional leaders throughout the AME Operation
Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation across operations by analyzing current processes, gathering stakeholder input, and assessing feasibility
Champion change and strategic problem solving through influencing and building relationships with peers, business partners, and external stakeholders
Apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess, monitor and evaluate performance of current processes and proposed and implemented improvements
Drive optimal solutions with the identification and adoption of best practices by partnering with functional leaders and gathering and utilizing data from outside organizations
Streamline and/or document current AME Operations processes to support stakeholder visibility & best practice sharing across the organization
Collaborate with members of the AME Operations leadership team as well as associates across the Operations organization in forums such as stakeholder interviews, presentations, workshops, etc

Required

Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analysis, etc
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc.) is a plus!
Interest in lean six sigma and/or continuous improvement
Ability to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Ability to think through problems and apply solution-oriented strategies
Ability to streamline processes
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to meaningful projects
