ServiceNow Administrator/Developer

Talent Space is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time position with a Datacenter client located in Irving, TX. This role involves providing upper tier support throughout all phases of the project and hardware lifecycle, focusing on system stability, scalability, and governance of CMDB data.

Responsibilities

Participating in architecture reviews with IT groups to ensure supportability requirements and standards are followed
Developing new standards to maintain or improve system stability and scalability, with considerations for sustainability and future-proof design
Researching and recommending innovative, automated approaches for systems and system administration tasks
Designing, implementing, and maintaining the CMDB data model to align with the business's IT infrastructure and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
Developing and enforcing governance policies to ensure the accuracy and health of CMDB data
Configuring and maintaining integrations with external systems to ensure data accuracy in CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM
Creating and maintaining CMDB health dashboards and reports for actionable insights
Collaborating with stakeholders to define CI class structures, attributes, and relationships in alignment with CSDM standards
Supporting ITOM-specific process definition, re-engineering, and improvement efforts
Mentoring junior network administrators and engineers in various aspects of systems design and operations
Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical major such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent education and applicable work experience
Strong Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in implementing ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and CSDM modules
Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, data modeling, and the CSDM framework
Strong stakeholder management, planning, and organizational skills
Advanced functional knowledge and experience in the healthcare domain
Hands-on experience in ITIL, especially in the configuration management domain
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team

Preferred

Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow CIS – ITSM
ServiceNow CIS – any ITOM module
ITIL v4
