Snr Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Specialist PACE
On Lok is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of elders through their PACE program. The Senior Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing expertise in regulatory affairs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance practices within the organization.

Responsibilities
Monitors and reviews communications from CMS, DHCS, and other regulatory agencies
Analyzes and interprets new or updated regulations, identifies impact to PACE operations, and translates requirements into actionable guidance
Provides expert analysis on complex regulatory issues as they arise, delivering timely guidance to leadership and teams
Participates in regulatory training sessions, webinars, and calls, and disseminates key takeaways internally
Partners with internal departments to develop, revise, and review policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment
Provides subject matter expertise to the Policies and Procedures Committee and coordinates the approval and dissemination of updated policies
Represents the organization externally with regulators and auditors in a professional, knowledgeable manner
Serves as a key resource during external audits and site visits, preparing documentation and universes
Drafts corrective action plans and monitors follow-up activities in collaboration with impacted departments
Conducts regulatory compliance monitoring reviews and assessments of internal and external processes, identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement
Prepares reports and dashboards for management with clear recommendations
Leads the preparation, review, and submission of routine and ad-hoc reports and filings. Performs quality checks on data and information prior to submission
Advises departments on reporting requirements and ensures deadlines are met
Collaborates with departments across the organization to strengthen compliance culture and practices
Oversees the accuracy and maintenance of compliance databases and repositories, including regulatory communications and audit documentation
Performs other regulatory compliance activities and initiatives as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Admin, Business Admin, Public Policy, or a related field
5-10 years experience in progressive regulatory affairs or compliance experience in a managed care or healthcare environment
Demonstrated expertise with Medicare and Medicaid programs
In-depth knowledge of CMS, DHCS, and related regulatory frameworks
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently while building trust and influence across departments
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Must be able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
