Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities by tapping into potential customer networks and closely analyzing market trends
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring a smooth sales process from initial contact through to sealing deals
Conduct on-site or virtual presentations to educate prospective clients on our services, emphasizing the value and quality of our solutions
Navigate through customer needs to suggest appropriate products and services, providing a consultative and strategic sales approach
Prepare detailed proposals and quotes that align with customer needs, budgetary constraints, and company sales targets
Coordinate with other departments within Almco Plumbing to ensure client service requirements are met with timeliness and efficiency
Provide follow-up activities with potential clients to close sales and build lasting professional relationships focused on future service opportunities
Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and to enhance the company's visibility in the market
Document and report on sales activities and results for senior management, providing insights into customer needs and competitive positioning
Maintain a high level of expertise regarding the state of the market as well as trends that can affect sales in the sewer, drain, and epoxy lining sectors
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, particularly within the sewer, drain, and epoxy lining industries or related fields
Strong ability to function well in a team environment and to build positive, productive relationships with colleagues and clients alike
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly convey the values and services of the company
Solid understanding of sales processes, preferably with direct hands-on experience in all stages from lead generation to deal closure
Highly goal-oriented personality, motivated by meeting and exceeding predetermined objectives
Demonstrated initiative in tackling problems and spotting opportunities; a self-starter who approaches professional hurdles with a solution-oriented mindset
Robust organizational and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Must have a genuine interest in continuous learning and professional development to keep skills and industry knowledge up to date
