Safety Coordinator | EHS Supervisor (2nd Shift)

The Safety Coordinator/EHS Supervisor will partner with plant leadership to implement safety policies and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, while also managing incident reporting and training programs.

Responsibilities
Assist the Safety Manager with reviewing, updating, and implementing safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Partner with operations and plant functions to evaluate work practices and recommend improvements to reduce risk
Manage the plant's incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure tracking
Develop and deliver monthly safety training for all associates; review and revise training content to improve effectiveness
Conduct specialized safety training as needed and assess training effectiveness
Perform routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (assembly, machine shop, or similar)
Supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume facility
Experience with safety programs, incident investigations, audits, and regulatory compliance
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
Ability to work 2nd shift (3 PM–12 AM, Monday–Friday) with weekend on-call availability and overtime flexibility
Strong communication and leadership skills to train, influence, and engage associates
Preferred
Undergraduate degree in Safety or a related field
Professional certifications such as CPE, CSP, or CIH
