Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CAD drawings for plant layouts, equipment placement, and utility systems
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate representation of physical spaces
Update existing layouts to reflect changes in equipment, workflow, or facility modifications
Assist in planning and visualization of maintenance projects, including space utilization and workflow optimization
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards in all drawings and documentation
Maintain organized records of all CAD files and revisions for future reference
Provide technical support during installation or relocation of equipment by supplying accurate layout documentation
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to plant layout and operational efficiency

Required

Education: Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, CAD Design, or related field
Knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance workflows, and production processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings
Ability to interpret engineering and architectural plans
Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience supporting facilities layout and design preferred
Ideally 3+ years of experience CAD drafting within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proficient in AutoCAD with Experience with 3D modeling or advanced CAD tools preferred
