Responsibilities
Learn operational procedures, production processes, and maintenance activities at aggregate sites
Support data collection, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
Gain exposure to daily mine operations such as drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling
Work alongside operations and maintenance teams to understand heavy equipment performance
Collaborate with engineering, geology, safety, and operations teams
Assist with safety protocol implementation and compliance monitoring
Apply engineering and analytical skills to real-world operational challenges
Present internship learnings and project outcomes to leadership at the conclusion of the program
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Mine Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
Foundational understanding of engineering principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to spend time in the field and industrial environments
Preferred
Prior coursework or exposure to mining, geology, or construction materials
Interest in sustainability and responsible resource development
