Responsibilities

Become an ASC 606 Expert: Analyze customer contracts to pinpoint performance obligations, transaction prices, and allocate revenue precisely in line with ASC 606

Decipher Complex Transactions: Conduct detailed assessments of revenue recognition for intricate deals, including multi-element arrangements and variable consideration

Document and Justify: Prepare thorough technical accounting memos for significant transactions, ensuring strict adherence to U.S. GAAP and ASC 606

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, legal, and operations teams to resolve revenue-related issues during contract negotiations

Maintain Financial Accuracy: Monitor and reconcile revenue accounts, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition

Support Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with a specific focus on revenue-related disclosures

Optimize Processes: Help implement and maintain systems and processes to streamline revenue recognition and reporting

Facilitate Audits: Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue-related transactions
