Responsibilities
Lead a multi-skilled team of Cement Technicians in a high-performance, process-area environment
Manage day-to-day operations and mechanical maintenance activities to optimize resources and ensure effective execution
Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members, delivering technical and safety training
Make operational decisions considering the large business impact and delegate responsibilities appropriately
Participate in business planning, budgeting, and CAPEX projects for your team/area
Develop and execute area maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective strategies, outage planning, and reliability improvements
Oversee third-party vendors providing mechanical support to your area
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3+ years in operational or supervisory roles in industrial or plant environments
SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong leadership, coaching, delegation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, truckers, and customers
Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as operations require
Excellent safety, environmental, and quality orientation
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
