Electrical Engineer II

Talent Bridge is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the maintenance, reliability, and operation of plant electrical power systems and control systems. The role involves developing preventative maintenance routines, supporting troubleshooting, and preparing engineering scopes for electrical projects.

Responsibilities

Develop preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for electrical equipment
Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of plant electrical systems and process control systems
Prepare engineering scope of work for electrical projects
Interface with contractors for project execution, including solicitation, selection, and field oversight
Prepare cost estimates and justifications for capital planning
Conduct feasibility studies for electrical modifications or additions
Maintain standard specifications for electrical equipment modifications and projects
Maintain, organize, prepare, review, and revise drawings as required
Utilize SAP for parts procurement, work order review, reporting, and capital project management
Assist in scheduling planned electrical activities executed by employees, contractors, or service companies
Perform other duties as assigned
Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 3–5 years of equivalent experience
3–5 years in electrical engineering or related industrial environment
AutoCAD
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Master's degree
Working knowledge of PLC programming and process control systems (ControlLogix, PLC-5, SLC 500)
Experience with instrumentation, motors, starters, VFDs, and communication networks (Modbus, Modbus Plus, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet)
Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE, including respirators (clean-shaven as required for fit tests)
