Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures
Inspect plant equipment and systems, diagnose mechanical issues, and complete necessary repairs or adjustments
Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns to restore safe operations
Maintain crushers, conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens, and related components
Conduct job safety analyses prior to maintenance or repair activities, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and work-at-height considerations
Routinely walk the plant to identify equipment requiring maintenance or repair
Maintain required maintenance records, reports, and documentation
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
Actively promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, or maintenance in an industrial or heavy-industry environment
Preferred
Experience with welding, fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Experience operating equipment such as skid steers or man lifts
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
