Responsibilities
Support development of and deploy strategic initiatives to facilitate cross-business synergies
Champion and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationships
Review, approve, monitor, and report compliance to category agreements and strategies
Present new planning tools, methods, and procurement opportunities with senior management
Plan, prepare and execute annual value proposition for the owned spend
Champion Supplier Business Reviews with assigned suppliers
Identify potential financial/operational threats and develop supplier risk mitigation strategies
Manage employees and provide guidance to support departmental plans and priorities
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Must have automobile client experience
Broad expertise in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Supplier Quality, S&OP, Negotiation, and Product Development
Proven track record of being a strong problem solver, an effective communicator, and demonstrated leadership skills
Ability to lead groups to reach consensus on realistic, specific goals and objectives
Travel required up to 15% for Supplier visits and in-person team meetings
Preferred
5 years' professional negotiating experience in a global business environment
5 years' professional experience improving supplier performance across multiple manufacturing facilities
APQP experience
Demonstrated Continuous Improvement (CI) experience
Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in motorcycles and accessories
