As the Manager of Innovation Software Development, you will define and develop innovation initiatives, manage projects from design to completion, and ensure compatibility with existing systems while leading a team of developers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Participate in ideation around innovation initiatives, including researching various technology solutions/vendors to identify the best pathway to delivery of products

Responsible for the coordination of and planning with the company’s information technology architecture to identify future compatibility needs

Consult with internal departments to identify customer needs where applicable and include in project objectives. Provide support regarding product development to internal departments

Manage innovation project from initial design through testing while providing strategic management direction. Provide early insights around modifications that would be required within existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure. Review system requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions

Prioritize, plan, and track project progress

Involved in direct planning of long and short term infrastructure improvement projects, including design, budgeting, and implementation

Manage team of developers, 3 rd party vendors/schools, and interns to achieve diverse objectives in replicable, scalable ways
