Responsibilities

Perform assigned tasks using standard surveying methods and procedures
Assist in data collection, including boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and construction survey data
Support drafting and preparation of survey drawings, sketches, and legal descriptions
Follow established surveying standards, best practices, and company policies
Consistently meet deadlines and budget expectations for assigned tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality
Build foundational knowledge and progressively assume greater responsibility as skills develop

Qualification

Surveyor in Training certificationSurveying methodsMicrosoft Office SuiteSurvey/CAD platformsCommunication skillsTeamwork skills

Required

Surveyor in Training (SIT) certification preferred; candidates should be actively on track to obtain professional licensure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to accuracy, organization, and quality

Preferred

Associate degree or coursework in surveying, geomatics, or a related discipline preferred
Exposure to survey/CAD platforms such as Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar
