Responsibilities

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify areas of improvement and work together on continuous improvement projects
Fabricate and modify equipment tools, and fixtures to support Kaizen initiatives and cost reduction
Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
Implement and monitor improvement actions to ensure sustained improvements
Document and report on the process and outcomes of improvement projects
Support the design of work cells and floor layouts for continuous flow of production and process improvement
Develop safe manufacturing procedures
Participate in the site safety committee and in shop safety improvement projects

Qualification

Required

You have experience in machining, welding, forming, or other various hands-on manufacturing skills
You have experience implementing continuous improvement projects and collaborating with multiple teams within an organization
You can prioritize multiple projects and shift priorities when needed
You have a strong understanding of Kaizen principles and continuous improvement methodologies
You have basic computer skills and are familiar with MS Office
