National Account Manager
Edward Don & Company is seeking a National Account Manager to represent the company in selling and merchandising its products and services to select National Account customers. The role involves developing relationships, managing accounts, and communicating effectively with various internal departments to enhance customer service.

Responsibilities
Manage large volume of business that grows at an above average
Establish, develop and grow relationships with assigned accounts at all levels
Establish business plans that will grow and develop sales opportunities and business with new and assigned customers
Negotiate agreements, procedures, product specifications with customers as needed and/or required
Communicate regularly with internal Edward Don departments on customer specific programs, agreements, needs, requirements, opportunities, etc. Written communication with customer is also required
Prepare and conduct business review and product line presentations to customer groups in conjunction with other Edward Don personnel
Develop and create merchandising ideas for potential product lines with Edward Don Marketing Department
At a minimum, achieve planned sales and profit dollar goals for assigned responsibilities
Keep informed on new products, pricing, and other general program and industry information
Act as a consultant, to provide advise and guidance to customers in relation to their requirements
Insure proper service and follow-up on all customer accounts
Ensure accurate pricing per program parameters
Identify new business opportunities
Maintain daily contact with internal departments, customers, factory representatives and other outside sources
Report on current activities and matters concerning assigned duties to his/her immediate manager
Keep records and reports on all phases of activities
Check on competitive activity
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
5+ years of applicable experience in marketing or a similar sales environment
In-depth knowledge of DON's products, services, and marketing techniques
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to problem solve

Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to travel
Preferred
Prior hospitality sales & freight forwarding knowledge
Knowledge and/or experience working with SAP
