Elevation Church is a community-driven organization focused on reaching people with the Gospel. They are seeking a Social Media Manager to manage media platforms, create social media plans, and engage with the community.

Responsibilities

Manage Holly Furtick’s media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Superphone, website, email) plus additional platforms as needed, including ideation, planning, writing, editing, scheduling, and posting content

Create and drive social media plans and content calendars, including developing campaigns and managing social partnerships for the target audience

Help oversee community management on all channels, including filtering and responding to comments

Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant

Research and present new ideas for engagement strategies, content opportunities, and platform innovations

Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative social media campaigns

Assist with team projects and special initiatives as needed such as Book Club, Christmas projects, Reflect, etc

Assist in tracking performance analytics to measure content effectiveness and identify growth opportunities

Required

Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)

Experience in writing and overseeing content creation, with a high level of understanding of popular social networks — design, functionality, features, users

Creative thinking with an eye for storytelling, hooks, retention strategies, and digital trends

Relevant marketing experience (managing social media platforms or communities for brands, etc.)

High level of time management & ability to work under pressure

Exceptional communication and writing skills

Basic understanding of social media analytics and an interest in using data to inform content decisions

A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-impact team

Knowledge of Holly Furtick projects and voice
