Help advance the analytics practice using data science skills to develop novel insights
Exhibit advanced skills in programming, statistical analyses, data modeling, data cleaning and preparation, working with databases and source systems, data visualization/reporting tools
Work closely with Decision Support colleagues and also with other IT and non-IT colleagues on specific work efforts and larger strategic projects
Provide technical expertise and consultation as appropriate

Qualification
Required
Lead technical and team role in the planning, design, and delivery of modern data analytics and reporting solutions
Experience in building and maintaining a central university data environment
Ability to connect to and understand the data needed to fulfill core missions of the university
Experience in planning, design, development, testing, and delivery of accurate, precise, and efficient data models, dashboards, and reports
Technical leadership and expertise in translating business needs and defining technical specifications
Experience in creating data models and reporting solutions
Requirements gathering and translating business needs to technical specifications
Process improvement and advanced troubleshooting skills
Thorough documentation skills
