Lead Analyst – Market Analytics JJMT Surgery

The Lead Analyst – Market Analytics JJMT Surgery will be responsible for delivering market analytics, competitive insights, and business performance metrics to support the MedTech Surgery business.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver market analytics & trends, competitive insights, and business performance/KPIs
Work with SBI leadership to understand key business questions and leverage market data to build analyses
Develop E2E deliverables to enhance audience understanding
Understand key business questions and develop analytics methodologies
Produce data driven insights as part of a connected Commercial ecosystem
Generate analyses to answer business questions on JJMTS and competitive market performance
Provide insights based on Site of Care performance for both JJMTS and competition
Conduct KPI analyses to inform the business on strategy performance
Track new product launches to assess productivity, transferability and cannibalization
Perform price increase analyses to assess performance following price actions
Ensure flawless execution of all analytic activities
Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners to foster high engagement and connectivity
Contribute to strong team culture as well as personal/professional development and networking
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in business, marketing, finance, or data related field is required
3-5 years of work/industry experience required
Experience in medical devices, hospital specialty, consumer, or healthcare field
High Technical Skills that include Tableau, MS Office, Qlik, SAS, Power BI and other data tool sets
Ability to understand, translate, and integrate marketplace data, competitive intelligence, primary market research, and secondary data into actionable, data-driven insights to drive decision making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required
Preferred
MBA, MS or other advanced degrees are preferred, including post-graduate healthcare education
Progressive experience in forecasting, strategic insights, business analytics, finance, or a related field
Ability to draw insights from data to build compelling knowledge and productive recommendations
Working knowledge on forecasting market performance and/or product/services
High degree of business sense and strategic thinking
Ability to be a leader in a complex, constantly evolving environment
Proven track record of working in a matrixed environment where a high degree of collaboration is critical
Strong interdependent partnering skills; influence and consensus-building skills
Strong project management skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of and experience with secondary market research tools (e.g. DRG, Provider databases) and techniques
Knowledge and experience designing and executing primary marketing research
