$19/hr - $20/hrVolt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Technician in Maiden, NC. The role involves racking and stacking assets, installing and dressing cables, and cataloging equipment in a data center environment.

Responsibilities
Rack and stack assets including network switches, computer servers, PDUs and related equipment in a data center environment
Install and dress cables: primary/secondary power, DAC, Ethernet & fiber
Label cables in accordance with build specifications
Tag assets to ensure proper cataloging in asset database
Work with hand tools to assemble cabinets and install related hardware
Qualification
Required
Experience working with Ethernet and/or fiber cables
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand throughout an 8-hour shift, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment as needed
Preferred
Previous experience working with rack mounted network switches/routers and servers
Racking and stacking
Previous work in a data center environment
Hardware installation
Networking or computer certifications
