Responsibilities
Safely crate and uncrate large surgical robotic systems and components within a warehouse environment
Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (forklift experience is a plus, but not required)
Adhere to all safety protocols and use provided PPE
Physically handle equipment and parts, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or working on your feet for extended periods
Work collaboratively as part of a team under the supervision of the Distribution Supervisor
Perform standardized, written pre-delivery inspection and testing of surgical robotic systems
Utilize computers and software for inspection processes (proficiency in SAP and Excel required)
Support the disposition of inventory, including transacting items in SAP for scrapping, return to vendor, or internal use
Maintain accurate records and follow established protocols
Receive comprehensive training, including a two-week, hands-on program for inspection responsibilities
Assisting with return inventory movements, triage, and preparation for failure analysis
Supporting lab activities and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education/certification is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred
Experience with capital medical devices or surgical robotics
Experience operating pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus
Experience working in a team environment
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP system
