Responsibilities

Deliver Expert Emergency Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care including rapid assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation for a wide variety of patient acuities

Respond to Critical Situations: Administer medications and treatments safely, and respond swiftly and effectively to codes and emergent patient conditions

Collaborative Care Planning: Work alongside physicians and multidisciplinary teams at different facilities to develop and implement dynamic patient care plans

Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions

Ensure Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with all standards and policies

Travel & Adapt: Float between assigned facilities (Augusta and Marietta areas), adapting quickly to new environments, teams, and protocols

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct Emergency Department (ED) RN experience

Exceptional critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork

Must thrive under pressure in fast-paced, changing environments

Must be willing and able to travel/float between facilities as scheduled

Reliable transportation is required

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
