The EH&S Generalist Intern will perform risk assessments, support Process Safety Management activities, and participate in EHS programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Perform risk assessments and identify controls for site activities
Support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities
Perform EHS audits and identify improvements
Support EHS programs (incident investigation, emergency response, regulatory compliance, etc.)
Be an active participant in the EHS department and site continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or any EH&S field
Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred
Strong initiative, interpersonal and team skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of risk management, regulatory compliance, communication, and fostering a proactive safety culture
