As a Staff Accountant, you will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the month-end and year-end close process

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances on a monthly basis

Support general ledger maintenance and perform account reconciliations under the direction of the Controller

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring proper coding and approvals

Assist with preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset, prepaid, and deferred revenue schedules with guidance from senior finance team members

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Support external audit and tax processes by preparing documentation and responding to requests as assigned

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards

Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function
