Sales & Design Consultant - Window Treatments
The Shade Shop is a Hunter Douglas Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, where they offer high-end custom window treatments. The Sales & Design Consultant will be responsible for meeting with clients to create innovative design solutions and ensuring their needs are met with appropriate products and services.
Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
Guide clients to the appropriate window treatments
Finalize order details such as fabric, color, operating systems, specifications, etc
Take detailed measurements for the project
Record client information in our CRM
Follow up with clients regarding quotes and orders
Conduct site visits for building under construction
Coordinate with contractors and integrators on hard-wired projects
Place product orders with our vendors
Coordinate installation with the client and our team
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a construction-related design or sales role
Proficiency in using tape measures, laser measures, and renderings
Knowledge of residential and commercial construction as it pertains to windows
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods on construction sites
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in design execution
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
A creative mindset with the ability to visualize design concepts in a practical application
Preferred
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Salesforce preferred
