Responsibilities
Organize and review client tax documentation and supporting schedules
Assist with preparation of individual and small business tax returns
Communicate with clients regarding missing information and routine tax questions
Support compliance with federal and state tax filing requirements
Record financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations
Assist with monthly bookkeeping for small business clients
Support payroll processing and quarterly payroll tax filings
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Maintain electronic client files and documentation
Assist with assembling completed tax returns and client deliverables
Provide general administrative support related to accounting operations
Communicate professionally with clients as required
Qualification
Required
2 years of prior experience with preparing and filing individual and business tax returns
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate professionally
Preferred
Prior accounting coursework or experience preferred
