Contributing to the coding of the new development on an application created 6 months ago

Deploying application on their own, no Devops team supporting them (small team expertise preferred)

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

7 years experience of software development experience, involving Java and Spring technologies

Expertise with Spring Frameworks, preferably Spring 4 and Spring Boot

Expertise with RESTful API design and development

Full-stack software development knowledge with the following technologies/tools: Eclipse, Core JAVA, J2EE, JDK 15 or above, Angular, Python, FastAPI/Flask, UNIX, Linux, Spring (MVC, Boot), Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, Datadog, Artifactory, Maven, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, Karate, and Confluence

Hands-on experience with GenAI-powered development assist tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Amazon Q, or similar AI coding assistants)

Experience with Container Platforms (Docker), Cloud Computing (AWS) and EKS (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, SNS, Lambda, IAM Roles, KMS, CloudWatch)

Java, candidate will be Contributing to the coding of the new development on an application created 6 months ago

Experience deploying application on their own, no Devops team supporting them (small team expertise preferred)

Preferred

Snowflake – The team highly prefers a candidate experienced with Snowflake, however other relational database experience might be good enough

Angular – framework exposure, experience connecting end points should be fine, anything more is nice to have

Python, need to have used it and understand the code at a beginner level

Unix – many of the legacy applications in AM are still written UNIX/Linux so some understanding is very nice to have
