Responsibilities
Utilize modern tools and technologies such as Java, Drools/Red Hat BRMS, JBoss, Git, Maven, and Agile methodologies
Apply Behavior-Driven and Test-Driven Development practices, including the use of JUnit for testing and development
Build, and maintain web services and enterprise-level applications
Prepare software solutions for production
Address and resolve user-reported issues in live environments
Independently manage small-scale projects and contribute effectively to larger team initiatives
Develop in Linux-based environments using tools like Visual Studio Code
Leverage AWS for cloud-based application development and deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of experience in Java, with strong proficiency in core Java and web services
5+ years of hands-on experience with Drools/Red Hat Business Rules Management System or similar rules engines
Proven experience developing web applications and writing unit tests using JUnit
Background in working with JBoss Application Server
5+ years of experience using Git and Maven
Proficient in working within Linux-based development environments
Experience with AWS, SQL, and Visual Studio Code
Preferred
Familiarity with JBPM or other business process automation tools
