Account Executive
QDS, Inc. is a values-driven company recognized for its workplace excellence. They are seeking a driven early-career Account Executive to support growth through new business development with smaller financial institutions and manage assigned client relationships.

Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with community banks and credit unions
Execute outbound outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and follow-up campaigns
Lead discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making processes
Present QDS solutions through virtual meetings and demos
Clearly communicate value propositions, ROI, and cost-benefit analyses
Create and manage proposals with guidance from sales leadership
Support contract discussions and closing activities in alignment with company policies
Manage and maintain relationships with assigned Tier 3 clients
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely communication and responsiveness
Support renewals, small expansions, and ongoing client satisfaction
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and escalate larger opportunities to senior sales leadership
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account data in CRM tools (HubSpot or similar)
Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development
Collaborate closely with Strategic Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment
Stay informed on industry trends and challenges facing community banks and credit unions
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in building a career in sales within financial services or fintech
A “hunter” mindset with comfort in prospecting and building pipeline
Clear, confident communicator with a positive and coachable attitude
Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Ability to learn and articulate product features and value propositions
Results-oriented and accountable for individual activity and revenue goals
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales technology
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
Experience working with or selling to financial institutions is a plus, but not required
