Responsibilities
Lead Record-to-Report (R2R) configuration, owning the Financial Data Model (FDM) and designing business processes for journals, fixed assets, allocations, and streamlined period-close activities
Manage Workday Adaptive Planning, including integrations with Workday Core Financials, version control, sheets, and dimensional structures for budgeting and forecasting
Configure Tax and Treasury functions such as bank account management, settlement rules, ad-hoc bank transactions, withholding tax, and sales tax integrations
Build composite financial reports to support statutory and management reporting (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
Provide L2 support during period close by resolving posting errors, accounting date issues, and reconciliation blockers
Troubleshoot bank reconciliation exceptions and unmatched statement lines
Support Adaptive users by resolving access issues and correcting formula or model errors
Maintain asset management accuracy, including depreciation fixes and asset disposal corrections
Govern the Financial Data Model, reviewing and approving new cost centers and ledger accounts and ensuring proper alignment with Adaptive
Qualification
Required
Workday Pro or Implementer certification in Core Financials or Adaptive Planning
5+ years working in finance systems with strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles
Preferred
CPA or formal accounting background
