The role involves strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Framework, focusing on RESTful APIs development and integration. This is a 12+ month contract position that requires collaboration in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Strong proficiency in Java (Java SE and Java EE)
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs development and integration
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
Experience using GitHub Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and productivity enhancement
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment
Good communication skills for cross-functional team interaction
