Dove Air is on a mission to provide vital medical supplies globally using autonomous aircraft. The Commercial Director will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing operations as the company expands into new markets.

Responsibilities

Finding and pursuing new business opportunities
Assessing the market opportunity
Speaking to all potential stakeholders
Designing a business plan from end to end
Following through to ensure that the opportunity becomes a reality
Managing multiple stakeholders in the sales and reporting processes
Helping manage the broader sales pipeline as well as your created pipeline
Undertaking research and analysis regarding new business opportunities and the company expansion strategy
Managing and running ground operations in conjunction with our aviation operations teams
Reviewing commercial contracts to ensure they are commercially practical and reasonable
Providing input as necessary
Setting up corporate entities and other business infrastructure in new countries and new markets

Required

Ability to demonstrate experience (18 months minimum) in strategy, sales, operations, and stakeholder management – likely through experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, startup or another professional background
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Ability to demonstrate PowerPoint and Excel skills used in a professional environment
Ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial drive, business acumen, creativity and ability to demonstrate both structured and lateral thinking
Be excited about spending a lot of time traveling internationally
The proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline

Preferred

Knowledge of public health systems
Familiarity with large multi-stakeholder deals
Knowledge of commercializing new technology
