Responsibilities
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing and other building systems
Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
Manage vendor performing maintenance and repairs
Perform routine inspections of emergency lights, building core and shell, restrooms, and hazards
Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion
Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner
Work well with other technicians and be willing to take directions from engineers and management
Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
2+ years of job related maintenance experience
Experience working with the CMMS (work order management) system to update and complete work order status and preventive maintenance plans
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work some overtime a plus to support operations preventive maintenance activities
Stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
