Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple banking systems to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and risk stakeholders
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
Leverage AWS services (such as S3, Redshift, Athena, or related analytics services) for data analysis and reporting
Partner with business teams (risk, finance, operations, product, compliance) to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Support ad-hoc analysis requests and ongoing reporting needs
Document data definitions, metrics, logic, and reporting processes
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards common in banking environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with Tableau (dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, performance optimization)
Experience working with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, or similar)
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases
Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must be willing to work onsite and attend in-person interviews
Preferred
Prior experience working in a banking, financial services, or regulated enterprise environment
Familiarity with data governance, risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting
Experience with Agile or Scrum-based delivery models
Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data analysis is a plus
