5+ years expArtfox is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join their team in a long-term role. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial settings while providing excellent customer service and ensuring systems operate efficiently.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial settings, including rooftop units, air handlers, split systems, and furnaces
Perform annual maintenance and routine service to ensure systems operate efficiently
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve HVAC issues with accuracy and professionalism
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining findings clearly
Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used
Stay current with industry codes, safety standards, and new technologies
Work both independently and as part of a team
Participate in an on-call rotation every 8 weeks, which is non-negotiable
Qualification
Required
EPA Universal Certification (required)
At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation and service
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and safety procedures
Ability to use thermometers, gauges, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in heights, confined spaces, and hot or cold environments
High school diploma or equivalent required
Availability to participate in an on-call rotation every 8 weeks, non-negotiable
Preferred
Vocational/technical training preferred
Experience with Field Edge or similar mobile invoicing platforms is helpful
Familiarity working with commercial service brokers is a plus
